Montevideo was at the heart of advancing the intersection of creative industries and intellectual property rights (IPR) at the beginning of April through a series of events organised by AL-INVEST Verde IPR. The mosaic of events, designed for a broad spectrum of professionals from the MERCOSUR countries and Chile, explored the future of creativity through the prism of innovation and legality.

Design examination - A two-day online training session on design examination was held online from 12 to 13 March 2024 to strengthen the skills of intellectual property (IP) registrars, in particular industrial design examiners, from the MERCOSUR countries, Chile and other Latin American countries. It was organised in collaboration with the IP cooperation project IP KEY Latin America.
