Seminar on Convergence of Practices (CP8 – CP10)

The European Union Intellectual Property Network (EUIPN) has created several common practices ensuring that applications for trade mark and design registrations, as well as examination, are consistent across EU national and regional IP offices. Besides those adopted in 2020, Sakpatenti has expressed interest in exploring the adoption of new trade mark and design practices available for non-EU IP offices.

Policy-level stakeholder event to promote importance of IPR

The EUGIPP main achievements will be presented during a policy-level event gathering stakeholders in the third trimester of 2021.

The objective of this activity is to promote the EU-funded project by highlighting the benefits it will bring to the Georgian IP system. It will improve the awareness among IPR users, enforcement practitioners and national media on the importance and value of IP, as well as the negative effects and risks related to counterfeiting and piracy.
