IPR Conference 2024: Intellectual Property Rights in the Digital Environment

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ECCK), and the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) co-organised the ‘IPR Conference 2024: IP Rights in the Digital Environment’ on 11 November. The event was inaugurated by EU Ambassador María Castillo Fernández, Mr Stefan Ernst, President of the ECCK, and Mr Wan Ki Kim, Commissioner of KIPO. The conference focused on the latest developments in digital IP rights, collaboration between authorities, rights holders and online platforms, and the use of emerging technologies to support IP rights enforcement online. The event provided insights into the impact of IP rights on the digital world and highlighted the challenges and opportunities for intellectual property in the digital era.
