Creativity and IP in Georgian schools
Based on the success of previous activities, the EUGIPP will continue to work in the field of education by involving teachers and students of selected Georgian schools to raise their awareness about the importance of IP.
With the support of an expert, new education materials will be selected, further adapted and translated into Georgian. They will then be put at the disposal of Sakpatenti’s learning centre, as well as of schools participating in the activity.
Moreover, further training sessions for teachers will be organised in order to increase awareness about the importance of protecting IPRs. In the 2020 and 2021 annual work plans selected teachers were already involved in training sessions and actively participated in several education initiatives in the IP field. The purpose of adding this activity in 2022 AWP is to further extend the participation of more teachers in targeted courses to put them in a position to educate students on the benefits of IP.
