Strengthening IP enforcement systems

Weak enforcement remains a major barrier to effective IP protection in the CARIFORUM region. Counterfeit and pirated goods harm local industries, SMEs and consumer safety, therefore, engaging local enforcement bodies in dialogue with international counterparts and providing platforms to share best practices is essential.
As a new activity under AWP2, CarIPI will deliver webinars targeting senior officers in key enforcement entities across the 16 CARIFORUM countries, covering topics such as global trends in counterfeiting, enforcement awareness campaigns, and the development of IP enforcement strategies at business level.
