E-learning courses on design applications now available

The EU-Georgia Intellectual Property Project (EUGIPP) has supported the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia (Sakpatenti) in the development of examination guidelines for national and international design applications.

The guidelines were presented to stakeholders during a consultation held on 27 April 2021. The webinar recordings are now available on the project website as well as on the EUIPO learning portal.

The videos present the results of the work involved in developing the examination guidelines, which have been drafted in Georgian for the benefit of Sakpatenti staff and general users. Moreover, these webinars give an overview on the EUIPO guidelines on the examination of registered Community designs (RCD). They also provide information on the common practice (CP10) criteria for assessing the disclosure of designs on the internet, which has already been integrated in the guidelines for the registration of designs.
