Solidarity with Indonesia after Flores Island earthquake

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) expresses its deepest condolences following the devastating impact of the earthquake in Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara (eastern Indonesia).

Our thoughts are with the victims, their families and their loved ones.

The EUIPO has adopted Decision No EX-26-15, extending all procedural deadlines for parties in Indonesia, where proceedings before the Office fall within the affected period.

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic consequences and loss of life caused by the earthquake in Indonesia. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and their loved ones. At the EUIPO, we stand in solidarity with the people of Indonesia during this difficult time,” said João Negrão, Executive Director of the EUIPO.
