Thailand updates TMview data with 200,000 new trade marks

As of 20 April 2026, the Department of Intellectual Property of Thailand (DIP-TH) has refreshed its trade mark data in the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO)’s TMview search tool.

With this update, DIP-TH has added approximately 200,000 new trade marks to TMview, bringing its total contributions to almost 1.3 million. TMview now provides access to more than 140 million trade marks from 81 participating IP offices worldwide.

Since its launch on 13 April 2010, TMview has facilitated over 161 million searches, with users from Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States among the most frequent users.

The EUIPO has long been at the forefront of offering free, high-quality trade mark data to foster market transparency and openness. The latest update of DIP-TH’s trade mark records in TMview reflects the EUIPO’s continued collaboration in ASEAN, strengthening partnerships with intellectual property (IP) offices to enhance global data accessibility. This initiative has also been supported by the EU-funded IP cooperation project, SCOPE IPR.
