Seminars with enforcement authorities

Following on from the successful organisation of the Enforcement Forum in June in 2021, the present activity aims to mobilise EU expertise to exchange best practices with Georgian enforcement authorities.

The seminars will provide an opportunity to share information on EU legislation, prosecution and institutional proceedings as well as judicial decisions. In addition, it will be an opportunity to put in practice the results of the studies carried out in the framework of the project on enforcement-related matters and case-law, as well as to raise awareness of the negative effects of IPR infringements and to help identify the behaviour and methods of infringers.

During the seminar EU experts and Georgian judges will also examine case-law, referring to their jurisdictions and national case-law on IP infringement cases.
