Specialised course on trade mark guidelines and related stakeholder event

After completing the trade mark guidelines, a seminar on their application will be organised, together with a stakeholder event, in order to consolidate and promote the use of the guidelines among users.

The specialised course will concentrate on training Sakpatenti officials responsible for the application of the guidelines, while the stakeholder event will target IP attorneys, private businesses and other users.

Both events will raise awareness on the benefits of the guidelines, by enhancing the administrative frameworks for protecting intellectual property rights (IPRs) in Georgia, upgrading the common examination standards for users, increasing efficiency, clarity and transparency, higher quality and usability as well as by saving time and costs for applicants.
